I recently had the opportunity to test your flight simulator, and was very impressed. Not only did the simulator respond very well and function properly, but it was also very realistic and the closest you can get to flight without actually flying an aircraft. However my favorite part of the experience was the immersion. Being an amateur historian and having an extreme interest in aircraft, it was incredible to be able to fly some of the aircraft I've read and heard about. Another one of the highlights was being able to fly the B-24 Liberator, a plane that is very important to me due to the fact that my grandfather served aboard that plane in the last years of the Second World War. To be able to hear and see what he would have heard and seen was amazing. To fly in a cockpit of this historic plane, one of my favorites, was a great experience.

As a current flight sim enthusiast with real world flying experience I had the opportunity to test Brian’s baby a few months ago when it was almost in a complete ready to intro phase.

I accumulated several hours of flight time in Brian’s cockpit using his joy stick on both a low power Cub and a Mustang model with Microsoft Slight Simulator X.

My overall impression of the joystick is very positive in that it makes one feel more of a real sense of flying and having immediate input into the flight envelope with a controller that responds correctly and feels correct. Up to this point most other manufacturers of joystick products assumed the stick would be on a desktop and a “Gamer” would be playing with it.

Not so with Brian’s product. This gives one the impression that you just jumped into the cockpit and are getting ready for the checklist.

On a secondary note, it appears that the data rate for the controller is also high enough to use this design with HOTAS and high speed jet models which many enthusiasts specialize in. Also more from a design sense without giving out any proprietary information, unlike many of the competitors, there is nothing in the guts to wear out. All solid state. No one has to worry about the stick getting loose over time and the play or wobble in the centering that will reduce the enjoyment of flying and at worst lead to purchase of another stick.

My final thought is Brian has put a lot of energy and expertise into a very well designed product. I extend my best wishes for nothing but success in the near future.

Warmest Ragards
